BEZQ LTD (company number 13944166) is the controller of personal information collected through this shop. Our registered office is 9 Birchlands View, Sheffield, S4 8BZ, United Kingdom.

Information we collect

We collect information you give us when you browse, place an order, create an account, contact us or request a return. This may include your name, billing and delivery addresses, email address, telephone number, order details, account details and messages.

We also receive technical and security information such as your IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, cookie choices and information used to prevent fraud. Payment card details are handled by the selected payment provider and are not stored in full by BEZQ.

How and why we use it

• Contract: to take payment, fulfil and deliver orders, provide order updates, manage returns and provide customer support.
• Legal obligations: to keep tax and accounting records, protect consumer rights and respond to lawful requests.
• Legitimate interests: to secure the shop, prevent fraud, maintain records, improve our service and defend legal claims, where those interests do not override your rights.
• Consent: for optional marketing or non-essential analytics and advertising technologies. You may withdraw consent at any time.

Who receives your information

We share only what is needed with service providers supporting the shop, including our UK web-hosting and email providers, WooCommerce payment services, PayPal when selected, delivery and fulfilment providers, security and fraud-prevention providers, and professional advisers. We may also disclose information where required by law. We do not sell personal information.

International transfers

Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we require an applicable adequacy regulation or appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or approved contractual clauses. You may ask us for more information about the safeguard used.

How long we keep information

Order, invoice and tax records are normally kept for six years after the relevant accounting period. Customer-service, return, fraud-prevention and legal-claim records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose and applicable limitation periods. Account information is kept while the account remains active and then deleted or anonymised when it is no longer required. Marketing preferences are kept until consent is withdrawn; we may retain a minimal suppression record so that we respect an opt-out.

Basket reminder emails

If you enter your email address during checkout but do not finish ordering, we may send one reminder about that basket under the UK soft opt-in rules. The reminder may include a personal offer. You can choose “No reminder, please” or “No thanks” at checkout, and every reminder includes a one-click unsubscribe. We do not add you to a newsletter or send further reminders for the same basket.

For this purpose, we temporarily store encrypted contact details and a copy of the basket items. Pending reminder records are kept for no more than two days. The secure basket-recovery link and any unused personal offer expire 24 hours after the reminder is sent. We may retain a minimal suppression record so that we continue to respect an opt-out.

Cookies and similar technologies

Strictly necessary cookies support security, the basket, checkout, customer accounts and your consent choices. Optional analytics or advertising technologies are not to be enabled until you consent. You can change optional consent choices through the cookie controls when those technologies are in use. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent the basket or checkout from working.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Some rights are limited where we must retain records by law or need them to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
